RSS Feed Tools

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Difference between RSS Submit and RSS Feed Submit.

Let’s compare the two solutions …

a] Both tools are desktop software, which essentially submits your feeds to the appropriate places online. As such, both tools provide the same functionality.

b] RSS Submit will submit your feeds to 78 engines and directories, while RSS Feed Submit covers 75. Not much difference here, although it seems that RSS Submit might be doing a better job at keeping their tool updated (I’ve been using them since April and already received many updates that made the software easier to use and added new engines and directories).

c] Certain search engines and directories require more information than can be provided through a fully automatical submission process. RSS Submit tackles this problem by first asking you to fill-in a longer form and then automatically taking you to each of the manual submission sites, where it already pre-fills the forms and only asks you to confirm manually. RSS Feed Submit makes this even easier, first requesting that same information, but then doing all the work automatically. The only question in my mind is the quality of submissions and how they compare to eachother.

d] Ease of use is a strong factor, and RSS Submit takes the game here by allowing you to submit multiple feeds at the same time, save them in the management interface and track how many times you submitted each of them. RSS Feed Submit allows you to do one at a time.

e] As far as expanding the basic functionality of the tool, RSS Feed Submit is the clear winner, as it allows you to add new search engines and directories by yourself, even easily tackling those that would otherwise require a manual submission. A great user interface for adding new sites.

f] The final differentiating factor is the price, with RSS Submit starting at $44.95 for the Personal Edition, and RSS Feed Submit selling for $29.95.

Who Else Wants To Make Money With Adsense?

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Fact number 1: Kids in high school are making thousands of dollars every month with Adsense.

Fact number 2: Housewives, retirees, mom and dads, who are just staying at home and have never made a dime on the internet have created full-time incomes by simply placing Adsense ads on their web site or blog.

These are just some of the “super Adsense earners”. You may have already heard about their story for they are among the few who are on their way to making millions worth of cash just by promoting Adsense sites.

Anyone, any age and gender can become money generating Adsense publishers as long as they what it takes. How does one go about this Internet advertising?

Writing articles for Adsense is the way to do it. Using the right keywords in your articles and having Google ads on a certain site has become the most profitable way of marketing that anybody can get into. No experience and level of education needed. If you are not using this strategy, or may not be aware of it in the first place, chances are you may be losing thousands of dollars worth of extra income and still do not know it yet.

This is one of the many reasons why writing original quality content articles is now the latest in marketing buzz.

Content and links. When combined together becomes a really powerful tool to a successful web site and richer individuals.

Many internet marketing professionals are already aware of the value of an original quality content and how using keywords can drive targeted traffic into their sites from the search engines.

So why don’t all these web site owners write and submit their own articles if that is what is important?

The simple and understandable answer is that it takes time to write articles, submit them and get targeted traffic to their websites. That is why they get the services of those who can spares sometime to write the articles that would cater to their site purpose but still turn out as a good quality and unique piece of work.

To get into the Adsense marketing business and start earning some good cash, ask yourself. Did you enjoy writing when you were in school? If you answer yes to this question, you already have an initial advantage over most internet marketing business owners that wants to make money online and doing it at home.

With the boom in the Adsense market comes the need for sites to want fresh, quality and original keyword rich content.

This way, web site owners can have a steady supply of articles with the proper keywords that they relate to their site contents. The result of this is seen in the sites page rank when indexed by the search engines.

Which, in turn, gets moreAdsense ads to show above, below or next to the article on their website with targeted traffic.

What do people have to do?

Write quality and original content, keyword or phrase rich articles with links to your website in the resource box.

Then build a website or web page with targeted keyword or phrase rich original content for the targeted traffic that originates from the articles you wrote. Finally, you will have a Google Adsense ads that are targeted to your keyword or phrase rich original content site where visitors will get to visit when they come looking for information.

A win-win situation if you think more about it. A favor for persons looking for quality content and information. For the persons writing the original content articles. And the person with the quality original content rich website. Of course, the search engines and its advertisers are getting targeted traffic and sales but so what? As long as you are getting something in your favor, it does not really matter what the others are getting for themselves.

So who else wants to start earning money with Adsense. You.

Everyone. Anybody. Internet marketing has many opportunities wide open for this people. Writing articles and using Adsense for your kind of internet marketing strategy is one sure way of getting a piece of that action and cash.

Better not be left behind the many making millions already.

From Scavengers of the Sea to… Delicacy

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

DID YOU KNOW in the 1800’s lobster was known as a “poor mans food”? Poor colonial families, prisoners, servants and children often ate lobster because of its huge abundance and easy accessibility. Yes, it is hard to imagine, but there was a time when this seafood delicacy was embarrassing to eat and often shunned upon. You see, in the 1800’s people with money could afford healthy meat such as cattle and beef, but for people living along the coast, lobster and other seafood were seen as a cheap, attainable way to feed the mouths of their hungry families. Instead of throwing away lobster shells with the rest of their trash, colonial families dug holes in their backyard to dispose of the lobster shells in hopes that no one would notice last night’s meal.

Not only was lobster used for a poor family’s dinner, but for fish bait and fertilizer for Native American crops. Lobster was so plentiful that they could pile up to 2 feet high on the shores of Plymouth where people would gather them by hand. These were not 2-pound lobsters we are familiar with today, these lobsters could weigh up to 40 pounds and measure about 4 feet in length. They would crawl out the ocean’s waves onto the shore and lay there upon the thousands. Can you imagine if this was the case today? It would be impossible to find a space on the beach!

Needless to say, the degrading lobster nicknames like, “Poor Man’s Chicken” and “Scavengers of the Sea” did not last long. In the 1850’s lobster trap fishing became a profession where men would go out and hunt for these scorpion related species in boats that circulated salt water to keep their lobsters alive and by 1885 the lobster industry was thriving and selling for 10-12 cents a pound. Now, everyone from New York to Chicago was enjoying Maine lobsters and expensive restaurants were using them in their pies and sauces.

Today, lobster is one of the most expensive items on the menu and is not cheap to buy in markets either. Now, branded as a delicacy, lobster is featured all over the world on cooking shows and prepared in exotic assortments in world-renowned restaurants. So enjoy your “Scavenger of the Sea” or “Poor Man’s Chicken,” whatever you call it….it’s delicious!

Top 13 Things to Know about Lobsters:

4. Maine is the largest lobster producing state in the country
5. Lobsters “molt” or shed their shell hundreds of times before their death
6. Lobsters’ sense of smell is their greatest trait in helping them find food
7. For every 1 pound a lobster weighs, they are 5-7 years of age
8. Lobsters are most closely related to the insect family
9. Lobsters have no vocal chords
10. Humans are the main predators of lobster
11. A wild lobster will continue to grow its entire life
12. Lobsters eat other lobsters

Traveling Times

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Many a times, we become bored by staying in the same familiar place and even perhaps traveling around in our own country. Family does deserve a change and so there are families who travel internationally to some of the exotic places.

The meaning behind exotic places is that where the weather is nice and warm and people are welcoming. It is also fun to go to a place, where we find people of different race and color. It is also exciting to see different vehicles and taste exotic food too.

Once again it is one of the exciting moments for the family to get geared up to some nice place. It has been trend over a few years; people are recognizing Asia, Spain, Cuba, Equador, Egypt and many more places.

Mostly people plan to go to places which are reasonable and if we talk about that, than Goa, Thailand are couple of places where it is very reasonable and people do find exciting, because of the diversity in culture.

Some of the very important tips for the families who go on travel to exotic places specially in Asia are the first thing is making sure about taking appropriate Vaccinations. Asia is a country where it is very easy for a westerner to get prone to Malaria and various other illnesses. It is very important that a child specially to take care about it and this also applies to other family members going for holiday too.

It is also important to also carry the map of that particular place where you are traveling because you never can take a chance in an unknown country. Also it is advisable, to go on the net and look out for the language spoken there and before hand learn basic language so that no one corns you in an unknown place. There have been incidences that we probably have heard on media, to the way people corn westerners and so it is important that before hand preparation is made if the family plans to go out of their country and specially to places in which are unfamiliar to them.

The best thing is, when traveling to unknown or unfamiliar place, we do learn about other cultures, other people, and other religions and at the best time have a great holiday.

VoIP Is it Legal?

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

I have been in telecom for 12 years and for 12 years I have spoken to my mom at least once a week if not more. She always asks me how is work? Are you still doing that little telephone thing? About six months ago she called me up because she had heard something that may be of interest to me on her talk radio program earlier that morning. She did not want to forget to ask me about it so she wrote it down, (my mom will not call before 5 because she still believes the calling rates go down in half after 5), but she can’t seem to find the paper she just had in her hands- she asked if I could hold a minute. After I hear the rotary phone hit the counter and a bunch papers rustling- she gets back on the phone with her revelation. She is going to spell it for me and she wants to know if I am ready to write it down.

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again….expecting a different result. So here I am insane and armed with a pen she starts to spell it for me V-O-I-P. VoIP….. My mom wants to know if I have ever heard of it. I respond with a yes mom that is what I do. She responds with an OK I just wanted to make sure you knew about this new way of calling. They say it is really going to become popular. On that note I shifted the conversation.

Time passed and two weeks ago I called my mom and I got the where have you been? Working mom on a product for small businesses that already have an existing phone system and want to use VoIP. I proceeded with explaining how it will save companies a lot of money on their monthly phone bills and in some cases up to 70%. She responds with “Well Lisa, VoIP- now is what you are doing legal? I was stunned and amused so I responded with well mom I guess I will be find out soon enough if it is legal. It is not like I live a life of a criminal, but as far as my parents and their age group 60-80 if it is new and innovative……it is probably illegal or a scam.

Senior Citizens are the fastest growing population in America accessing the internet today. They also have the most discretionary income. The VoIP providers are really missing out on this market by not educating seniors about VoIP and the amount of savings they can save a month or annually on the phone service.

So as it stands now my mom thinks I am a thug, but the good news is she sent me a clipping from one of her magazines with a little note attached that read Google have you heard of them?

Irish Engagement Rings are Steeped in History and Romanticism

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

In case you’re wondering, Irish engagement rings can be worn by those who are not Irish. Many non-Irish couples wear Celtic, Claddagh, or Emerald rings due to their unique beauty and rich symbolism.

Celtic Engagement Rings: These rings will often consist of designs such as intertwined ribbons or lines which are representative of the eternity of interconnected lives and the unending nature of a love that binds a couple together in marriage and a new life together.

Claddagh Engagement Rings : The first Claddagh ring was made over 300 years ago in a tiny village in Ireland named Claddagh. Robert Joyce was a fisherman who lived in this village. His boat was overtaken by pirates and he was held captive and then sold as a slave to a wealthy goldsmith. Robert longed for his lover back in Claddagh. As he worked for the goldsmith, he was able to learn the trade, and made a beautiful ring for his beloved. He was released from slavery after several years and he returned to his village and presented the ring to his woman. They were married and lived happily ever after.

The Claddagh ring typically has different design variations of two hands holding a crowned heart. The hands represent friendship, the crown represents loyalty and fidelity, and the heart symbolizes love: All of the qualities necessary for a successful marriage.

Emerald Engagement Rings: Emerald rings have a connection to Ireland due to their brilliant green color. Emeralds have less obvious symbolism than Claddagh or Celtic rings but are a way to maintain a link to Irish culture, nonetheless. Some couples prefer to combine emerald stones with a Claddagh or Celtic design.

Julie Shields is sporting a beautiful ascher cut engagement ring. She and her husband put together a website to help you find the perfect engagement ring: www.ultimate-engagement-ring-guide.com http://www.ultimate-engagement-ring-guide.com

French Polynesia Some Helpful Facts For The Visitor

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Tahiti is south of the Equator, mid way between Los Angeles California, and Sydney Australia. It is in the same time zone as Hawaii.

The main languages spoken through French Polynesia are Tahitian and French.

You will find in the hotels and restaurants that English is spoken, however the local people do appreciate it when their guests at least make an attempt to learn a few of their words. They are very willing to teach anyone who is willing to learn, and they will do it with lots of smiles and big laughs.

In terms of entry requirements to French Polynesia, every visitor must have a return airline ticket to their home country or at least two more following destinations. In addition if required they must show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves in French Polynesia.

For most visitors, who are tourists, you will need a passport that has six months to run, except US, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealanders where three months is sufficient.

The only exceptions to this, where visas are obligatory are tourists from Israel, Brazil, Venezuela, and Panama. In some other cases visas are required for stays of over one month, and in other cases over three months. To be safe you should make enquiries from your travel agent, or the French Consular office in your country. Always bear in mind that entry requirements are subject to change without notice, and it is the passenger’s responsibility to make sure that all documents needed are complete and current.

There are few health requirements for French Polynesia, and it is not a malaria area, but you should ensure your vaccination program is up to date, ensuring you visit your doctor at least five weeks before travelling. You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance before leaving home. There are some outbreaks of dengue fever in Tahiti, so don’t travel without Deet, or some other mosquito repellent, and cover up at dawn and dusk.

The Law in French Polynesia is French law, so be aware that it is a criminal offence if you fail to offer assistance to a person in danger. This includes motor accidents, and any other occasion when a person is in danger, except if you would endanger yourself by offering assistance. If guilty you could be fined or be given a suspended prison sentence.

You must carry your passport at all times.

There are no sales taxes or hidden service charges in French Polynesia.

The currency is the Pacific French Franc[CFP], but bring traveller’s cheques rather than cash. Amex, Mastercard, and Visa are all accepted at all major establishments.

Finally prepare yourself for high costs as French Polynesia is 30 to 50% more expensive than most of the rest of the South Pacific

Protecting Your Children from Sex Offenders and Predators Online

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Unfortunately, young children have been the prey
of a good many mentally ill individuals in this
world. Their pattern is to seek out children in
friendship only to pounce upon them when the
child lets down its guard in learning to trust
the stranger. You must first accept that there is
indeed a problem as well as accepting that there
may be someone who is a predator of your family.

This is the first step in understanding that
there are others out there that will harm others
if given the opportunity, and acknowledging that
you must protect your family from those dangers.
It is imperative to understand all the different

into your family. This will help you to protect
you and your family from sex offenders.

One of the first areas that will aid you to

teaching them how to safely and securely use the
internet and its tools. Although many children
are more interested in talking with their friends
while online, they are able to reach out to
others and strangers are able to reach out to
them. There are many ways to protect your
children while online that you may wish to
consider. You may want to purchase special
computer software that is able to block your
children from viewing vulgar activities and
language as well as monitor the online activities,
which they do partake.

It is very important to realize that in their
innocence that a child may make a mistake and
give out important personal information. Let your
children know that if they do make a mistake, to
let you know as soon as possible, so that the
situation can be taken care of, and that they can
save themselves even after making a mistake. You
must let them know that there are sick
individuals out there who are a danger to them,
even sexually. There are many ways that you will
want to teach them about staying away from sex
offenders.

You must take all precaution in letting the child
know that they can protect themselves from sex
offenders who target children as well as other
people. You must also help them understand that
if they are abducted they can put up a fight and
struggle for their freedom, by calling attention
to themselves and the offender or anyone else who
will cause them harm, stranger or not, online or
offline.

Since there are so many different areas of online
use, you must let your children know that they
can still keep themselves safe while using
instant messaging and chat rooms. You must
protect your children by letting them know that
it is not permissible to use public or private
online chat rooms, as they are potentially in
danger while talking to any stranger. By

Inuyasha Sword

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

InuYasha is not any type of sword but he is a famous anime character which has got famous all over the world. This animated movie of InuYasha Sword was originated from Japan. For the past three years, each December has marked the release of a new Inuyasha feature film. The first two, Inuyasha: The Love that Transcends Time and Inuyasha: The Castle beyond the Looking Glass, were enjoyable but suffered from being little more than high-budget filler. The new Inuyasha: the Sword of World Conquest is a far more adventurous then the previous releases and it focuses more on characters. Seeking in the history of the movie we get to know that InuYashab s father Inu no Taishou was an extraordinarily powerful demon that carried three swords of immense power. Before dying, he entrusted two of these swords to his sons. Inuyasha received Tessaiga, a weapon with the power to protect man, and Sesshoumaru received Tenseiga, a blade capable of saving a hundred lives with a single swing. However, the third sword, Soub unga, was an incredibly evil weapon capable of opening the gates of hell. In order to protect the world from its wicked powers, it was sealed away. Now, two hundred years later, Soub unga has returned and fallen into the wrong hands. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru set off to destroy their father’s third sword. The protagonist, InuYasha is a hanyo, - half-human, half-demon. His half-brother, Sesshomaru, is a yokai, a full demon. The inheritance of Tenseiga rather than the more destructive Tessaiga leaves Sesshomaru bitter and he ponders why his father leaves him with the more passive of the two swords. InuYasha sword Tessaiga made from one the fangs of his deceased father. Tessaiga has four attacks:

? Kaze no Kizu (Wounds of Wind): B Special attack that can kill 100 demons with one strike. InuYasha learned it by himself while fighting Sesshoumaru.

? BakuryE+ha (Explosive Flowing Wave): Tessaiga’s ultimate attack, caused by trapping the enemy’s spirit in the Kaze no Kizu & making it flow the opposite way. InuYasha learnt this attack while fighting with a giant dragon that even InuYasha’s father was unable to defeat completely. This attack known as Backlash Wave in the English anime.

? Kongosoha (Diamond Spear Wave): It is known as the Adamant Barrage in the English anime.

? RyE+rin: that allows the Tessaiga to absorb a demonb s energy. It can absorb limited amount of energy, if InuYasha were to absorb too much energy than the blades were to turn black and it would cause him great pain.

Tessaiga has five forms:

? Rusty Tessaiga: Tessaiga’s basic form. It has no special power at all. InuYasha can’t transform it into any of its other forms when he is in his human form.

? Transformed Tessaiga: When wielded by a hanyo, Tessaiga transforms into a larger version of itself, roughly resembling a large falchion.

? Red Tessaiga: InuYasha got an orb that, when cut, gave Tessaiga the power to break any yokai barrier.

? Diamond Tessaiga: InuYasha got the ability of turning Tessaiga into diamond.

? B Dragon-scaled Tessaiga: The Tessaiga has gained the ability to absorb yokai energy. The blade looks like the regular Tessaiga except it has a few dragon-scales on the non-sharp side of the blade.

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

While rumors continue to fly that Las Vegas wedding music is expensive if live, the number one contracting company in Las Vegas continues to dispel those rumors daily.

The owner of Las Vegas Wedding Music said simply, “Las Vegas wedding couples have many unique inexpensive options available to them, whether it is through our company or another.”

Chandler Judkins, owner, is himself a musician and strives to find more ways to integrate live music into Las Vegas weddings by making it cost less than a dj and more unique than anything Las Vegas brides and grooms have seen.

Las Vegas Wedding Music has 12 new unique package ideas for couples looking for that unique sound at their Las Vegas wedding.

Las Vegas Wedding Music Package 1: Flute with string trio or piano

A Las Vegas wedding musician who plays the accordion is the perfect idea for an Italian wedding. It’s rustic sound makes guests feel as if they are actually in Italy.
